FOREVER FILUM

Inspired by Leonardesque Knots also known as Vincian Knots, FILUM is the first product of its kind made completely with Direct Metal Laser Sintering technology, which consists of the fusion of Titanium powder. The circular interweaves that form the body of the product are based on the decorations that Leonardo da Vinci reported in his works. The knots depicted by Leonardo reproduce the willow twigs used at the time to weave baskets or tie vines. For the artist they became a sort of acronym, a personal emblem that he used everywhere, in the designs of jewelry, hairstyles, accessories, choosing them also for the decoration of the Sala delle Asse in the Castello Sforzesco.
